The Warmth of One Embrace
Signed to Decca in 1972, Craig’s first solo album Take me Back featured the London Philharmonic Orchestra, US rock band Back Street Crawler and Chas Hodges, of ‘Chas and Dave’ fame.
Subsequently performing with a number of bands during the ’70s and ’80s, including 4 play, Good Egg and Wayland Smithy, his influences were varied, although essentially singer/songwriter driven.
It wasn’t until 1987 that he recorded his second album Diamonds on the Water and then after a 10 year break his next release The Warmth of One Embrace.
There followed, over the next 12 years or so, the albums Waiting for the Night and Face Forward. Craig is currently working on two more albums due for release in 2013 and 2014.
